Thank you to the Singapore Women’s Weekly for featuring me in this! Yes, I took off my clothes for the camera again – but hey, all for a good cause.
It took me a long, long, long time to reach this point where I am THIS comfortable with my body. Ironically, when I was at my thinnest (after all the crazy dieting and excessive exercising), I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do this because I still felt like I wasn’t enough.
I know I don’t have a “perfect” body by societal standards but who gets to define what is perfect anyway? YOU are your own perfect. I’m just happy that I am able to do the things I want to – racing, travelling, coaching – and hopefully inspiring others through Rock The Naked Truth.
Doing a shoot like that certainly takes courage and I hope it will give you a shot of bravery to pursue whatever it is you want to, a shot of confidence to appreciate your body more.
Sadly, it has come to my knowledge that some people didn’t have anything positive to say about this. Well, we all have our own opinions. What matters most to me is that I’m owning my body and I wish you are too!
