We don’t have a wedding date yet, but that’s not stopping us from getting our wedding photos done!
Just to update, we have found event venues who are willing to host a non-heterosexual wedding party but at the moment, because of the COVID-19 restrictions, only ROM-registered weddings/solemnisations are allowed. Hence, our wedding party is deemed a private event/social gathering and that isn’t allowed right now. That means the date is indefinite!
We do intend to register our marriage overseas but that will just be a private affair for ourselves and it will not be recognised here anyway.
No worries, there is no urgency to throw our wedding party and we will just have to wait for the regulations to change.
