Little Guilin (小桂林) is a park in Bukit Gombak, Singapore with scenery similar to that of Guilin, China with a granite rock sitting within a lake. Originally a disused granite quarry, the name “Bukit Batok” is said to be derived from the noise made by the blasting in the granite quarry which now form the natural surroundings of Little Guilin.
I have driven past it a few times but never had the chance to have a look at it proper. The other day, I decided to do a photoshoot for fitness couple Jason Julius Lim and Limaran Agustina and I realised how beautiful it is. The heavy rain just ended so it was very quiet and serene. I walked the grounds alone and soaked up the sights – breathtaking!
