HAROLD! I honestly didn’t expect that he would agree to do this. I was to shoot him back in 2013 but he kept pushing so I thought he wasn’t keen. He was in boxing and Muay Thai previously, but finally found his path in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (BJJ). Also, he tore his retina in boxing before, so moving to BJJ was a wise choice. A multiple gold medallist at blue belt, Harold remains humble and does not feel he has achieved anything significant unless he wins at brown or black.
His answers are pretty funny though. What are some misconceptions of BJJ? He said, “Uhhh they think it’s pretty gay, but sometimes it just seems like it. They also think it’s karate and like to make karate type of sounds when they ask if I do Jiu-jitsu. For example, “You do Jiu-jitsu? HAI-YAAAA!” and then do a karate chop.
