Follow all the action with the 2013 F1® Live Timing and Track Positioning App
As the Formula 1® fraternity readies itself ahead of the 2013 Singapore Grand Prix™ this weekend, the only official F1™ Timing and Track Positioning App is available for download as both a Free and Premium App across all major platforms, now including Windows Phone
A range of new innovations mean the Official F1 Timing and Track Positioning App is better than ever and still the very best way to stay in touch with all the action over a race weekend, whether you’re watching from home or keeping up with the sessions whilst out and about.
Users of the FREE ‘Basic Pass’ App can enjoy a vast database of team and driver information, a race calendar and countdown, all the official F1™ news live as it is issued and of course the fully integrated Twitter function, which allows you to tweet and to follow F1 tweets without leaving the App.
Those with a ‘Premium Pass’ will also benefit from all the Live Timing functions of the app, which include:
Page One Timing Screen; The most comprehensive timing screen available and the one the engineers rely on the most on the pit wall. Use this timing screen to see lap times for every lap in practice, every lap of every session to three decimal places in all sectors, any given drivers current speed through all speed traps, and an on-going perfect lap time showing the perfect lap as an accumulation of the best sectors overall.
A fully interactive 3D map; Pan in to follow your favourite driver or zoom out to see the whole field. Focus on any given corner, twist and turn the map to see the best views. Plus, all key marshal and race control messages and DRS activation points are also highlighted as they happen.
Comprehensive tyre data: Showing new and old tyre choices and how many laps on each driver’s tyres. See all the tyre data in a separate screen with the age of the tyres also shown on the map.
Faster timing feeds; Loop by loop intervals updated every 2 to 5 seconds.
Download at www.formula1.com/mobile or via the Apple App store, Google Play, Blackberry App World, Amazon or the Windows Store.
