It was an absolute honour for me to meet reigning UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos when he came to Singapore last month to train at Evolve MMA. I met him at the gym, but I also had the opportunity to hang out with his family at Gardens by the Bay one evening. He had an interesting rags-to-riches story to tell and I can see how much affection he has for his wife, who went through thick and thin with him. Totally down to earth and humble this guy is, I hope he gets to defend his title for a long time!
